Returns, Exchange and Refund Policy

Returns & Exchange

Any part or product that has failed, while under manufacturers’ warranty period, will solely fall under each manufacturers’ warranty guidelines and reimbursement schedule. The turnaround time is estimated between 1-4 weeks. It is up to the customer to notify Penry Air sales staff of time limitations.  Determination of warranty coverage is the sole discretion of the manufacturer and reimbursement of labor, mileage or freight is determined upon examination of any failed product. 

Do not return product directly to Penry Air and please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without contact Penry Air first to ensure proper steps are followed.

The manufacturer may instruct to have an item shipped directly from customer to factory.  Please click here to contact Penry Air to start the return/exchange process.

Stock items must be returned to stock within 30 days.  Once the 30 day time frame has lapsed, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.  All returned items must be accompanied by the sales invoice and be in unused, original condition and packaging. Special ordered items returned have the same requirement and will be subject to a restocking fee.

Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases

  • Oil, lube, coolant
  • Piping & Fittings
  • Clearance items
  • Used product
  • Past 30 days

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.  Credit card return payments can take a few days before posting.  Check payments can take between 10-14 business days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet,

  • Check your bank account again to verify.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged not to the fault of the customer.  Items under warranty are subject to approval and under the manufacturers’ discretion and terms.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, please click here.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
